Our fleet of temperature controlled containers is growing to create significant intermodal capacity while regulations increase on the trucking industry. Our dedicated draymen offer 24/7 pick-up and delivery.

Our fleet is comprised of new production CIMC containers utilizing highly efficient Carrier X4-7300 and Vector HE19 reefer units.

Every container in our fleet is also equipped with telematics that deliver smart global visibility technology which gives us the precision of tracking, tracing, and geo-fencing capabilities. The telematic alert system provides status updates about location, temperature, fuel, and container security for proactive logistics solutions, 24/7.

We offer daily order reports, web based active tracking, EDI connectivity (204, 210, 214, 990), and integration into any customer specific system.

Steve Van Kirk

Chief Executive Officer

Steve Van Kirk serves as Chief Executive Officer of Tiger Cool Express.

Prior to joining TCX, Van Kirk was President of Swift Intermodal, a position he held for five years.  He also spent twelve years at Schneider National leading several commercial, logistics, and intermodal groups.

Steve’s success in transportation is rooted in his appreciation of shipper requirements, which he learned first-hand during his five years with Procter & Gamble. Steve also served as an infantry officer in the United States Army for twelve years, attaining the rank of Major.   He had various postings around the world and served as a West Point faculty member. Steve is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York and holds graduate degrees from Yale University and the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
